Drew McClellan's Grammar School is a project of piano-based songwriting. Gypsy jazz guitarist, Gavin St. John introduces percussive riffs to accompany McClellan's sultry vocal style. The result of the two infuses an old time feel with a modern lyrical twist.

 

The duo formed in summer of 2016. The two progressed quickly and by April 2017, released their first self-titled digital EP. They released a second set of material mid 2018.

 

Their live performance is unexpectedly energetic and always creates an intimate atmosphere.
